Fierce Muay Thai, is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all members, staff, volunteers, and visitors. We recognise our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk, and to take all reasonable steps to protect them from harm, abuse, neglect, or exploitation.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Our policies apply to all staff, coaches, volunteers, members, parents/carers, and visitors.

Recognising and Reporting Concerns

• Safeguarding includes protection from physical, emotional, sexual and financial abuse, neglect, bullying and discrimination.

• Any concerns can be raised directly with our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

• We will always listen and take appropriate action.

• Concerns are handled sensitively and confidentially.

Safe Practice

• All staff and volunteers are appropriately vetted via Enhanced DBS checks and trained.

• We promote safe training environments where children and adults at risk are protected.

• We follow safer recruitment and safeguarding best practice.
